Retreat on Roe

Comfortable and well equipped property Positive: A lovely and well equipped property in a pretty good location in Benalla. The home was clean and spacious enough for our family of 6 adults, is pleasantly furnished and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Lovely big garden and undercover deck area. We would definitely book this house for future stays. Negative: Our bed was perfectly comfortable but our kids complained about the other two beds (and they’re not fussy usually). I couldn’t find a bottle opener (which I would have thought was a basic necessity) and there were only 3 wine glasses, even though the house sleeps 7. But these are minor complaints. Overall we really liked the house and had a comfortable stay.

The host was lovely and responsive, lounge and kitchen were good. Cleaning needs improving Positive: The host was lovely and very responsive to our needs. The television was not working but she came around and fixed it immediately. Negative: The property needed a really good clean. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. And the linen needed renewing.
